V. Evolution of Reference Frame
All things in Physics revolve around motion. Philosophically speaking, we may characterize the reference frame as the void of motion – i.e. its total absence. However, at a deeper analysis the reference frame implies the absence of the specific type of motion which is being studied, exactly the same way as a vacuum means absence of electric charge when charge motion is described, absence of mass when mass motion is described, etc. In close analysis, though, the reference frame has its own evolution, unnoticeable for the motion it helps to describe, and this is a very important point to notice. It is most unfortunate that this evolution had to be described by the means of Physics, i.e. by reducing it to motion, for this has hidden its true nature and led to much confusion.
Imagine what the Physics would be if the plate tectonics of the Earth crust would be a physically noticeable motion. The idea is absurd in itself, for we cannot even say that the Science would look the way it looks today in such a case. May be we could not even discuss about a reference frame, to say nothing about Astrology. Instead, we have evidence that places migrated on Earth along the time, even though that evidence may be criticizable nowadays (Pratt, 2000). The sure thing is that there is evidence allowing us to infer the existence of a motion that takes place at another time scale, not the usual time scale of Physics. The problem is if this motion is actual. The situation here seems to be akin to that regarding another part of the physical content of the reference frame, the Sky: the positions of Stars ages ago were not the same as their positions today. Here the Science got a plus in description: not only the Stars may have moved, but the Space itself may have stretched – at least starting at a certain scale – carrying its content in this process. This stretching of the Space has never been properly described, for it has been always reduced to motion. Its different nature has been realized by the beginning of the last century, when the General Relativity was born. However, this example shows with evidence that what Physics misses when abstracting a reference frame in the form of a triad of unit vectors, is the deformation of the reference frame, a process that cannot be always reduced to motion. One can say that this process sets the pace of all the physical processes to be described in that reference frame. Why not consider, for instance, that the very evolution of the Man as a species is in direct relation with such deformation!? No matter of the attitude we choose to adopt here, what we mean by describing the reference frame ‘in itself’ is this deformation that passes unnoticed for everyday life and thus, obviously, has a long time had passed unnoticed for Positive Science. In all evidence, then, we cannot say that the Astrology performs better when it comes to that part of description of the reference frame: it still considers the same geometric fixed frame as given within Euclidean Geometry.
I find your blog boring,I don’t think you are telling the truth.
nice to see that this topic is finally getting some airtime. Keeping hush-hush about it doesn’t make it go away… BTW, here’s some more info about comprehensive biorhythm charts for those interested.
Hey!, Your post LOGY AND PHYSICS - REASONS FOR UNDERTAKING A BLEMISHED SUBJECT expressed my opinion exactly. astrology readings is an interesting topic with pros and cons that can be argued.
To chickwendu: I don’t know the truth! But if you think that I am not telling the truth, you must know it. Can we be illuminated by your input?
To David Stir: that was entirely my idea! Keeping something bottled up gives no benefits but to those who profit from ignorance.
A personal question: what’s the real benefit of knowing the biorithm charts? Can you change the future state on the chart?
To Jayne Roceo: it’ll be interesting to see the argument!
I enjoyed your writing style and I’ve added you to my Reader. Keep these posts coming.
Hi. Your post LOGY AND PHYSICS - REASONS FOR UNDERTAKING A BLEMISHED SUBJECT is very interesting for me. My written English is not so good so I write in German: “Lieber den Spatz in der Hand, als die Taube auf dem Dach.” Yours sincerely Wednesday astrology
Sincerely, I cannot see here “den Spatz in der hand” and much less “die Taube auf dem Dach”. Can you be a little more explicit?
I read the freewill astrology every week and I am an aquarius, too. The same script you mentioned has effected me deeply ,too.
We feel like we have to settle down everything, and put everything in order. If someone reminds us that we don’t have to infact is really good.
Great article and informativ. I have this bookmarked. Thanks and regards
I like your post, i find your work interesting thank you for sharing with us.
