The Theoretical Physics of Tunguska Event
It is still a grand mystery how the Tunguska Event happened. There is nothing scientifically conclusive to confirm the explosion of a celestial body, as it appeared for the first time to the local observers. This, of course, gives way to all kinds of speculations regarding the origin of the event, some bordering on conspiracy theory, some going as far as to bring black holes into play, etc. Few theories though recognize the actual impossibility of science to explain the phenomenon. That of Andrei Olkhovatov is one of them, actually the only one we know.
By analyzing the body of evidence gathered along the time relative to the Tunguska Event, Olkhovatov came to the conclusion that this event has a significant resemblance with atmospheric phenomena related to tectonic activity. He then recognizes that the physics of such a phenomenon has not yet been written, so that, in the spirit of Classical Natural Philosophy he proceeds to building a phenomenology, i.e. to put together a body of facts, largely unexplained by science, in order to show that there is a qualitative analogy, and the fact that detaches the Tunguska Event among these is only the quantitative aspect: it is indeed the biggest one among them.
Acknowledging that, in our opinion, Olkhovatov is right, we only want to offer a theoretical justification of such a phenomenon and show that it is possible that another civilization on this Earth might have controlled and used it. This theoretical justification was stimulated by some recent works of Emilio Spedicato from the University of Bergamo, who suspects a Tunguska-type event around the epoch when Exodus is thought to have occurred (1600 B.C – 1200 B.C). However Spedicato apparently bets on objective natural processes. How about the idea of a volcanic event, triggered by an ethereal phenomenon controlled by man?!
In our opinion, the theoretical root of the explanation can be traced back to ether. The ether exists but it is accessible to our senses only to a very limited extent: only our eyes can perceive the light. Otherwise we have to help our senses in order to reveal the ether. This is for instance the case with the electromagnetic field, which is a special expression of the existence and interaction of the two kinds of ether: ether in matter and ether in space. Any state of stress in matter, including the one induced by gravitation as the tectonic state of stress, is able to induce a state of stress in the ether of matter, as well as a state of strain in the ether of space, outside the matter. The manifestation of this last state of strain, outside the matter, is a mobile electric charge related to incidental matter, carrying actually the matter with it, much like the solar prominences or the coronal loops which, in our opinion, are of the same nature.
Such events happen therefore in any gravitational field, including that of Earth, and this is our reason for saying that Olkhovatov is entirely right. However, we are going a little further, stimulated by the legend of Atlantis. This legend shows a civilization which self-destroyed. A civilization existed, capable of energetic self-sustenance, as we will be probably in our future. Its remnants seem to be some of actual pyramids (not all of them!), which incorporate the geometrical requirements of global devices capable to harness the tectonic stress energy and transfer it in ether energy. This energy is in turn usable through atmospheric phenomena of the kind of Olkhovatov’s illustrative collection, which are their natural version, much in the way the Oklo phenomenon is the natural version of a nuclear reactor.
The pyramids are then the geometrical form of a material device capable to transfer the tectonic state of stress in a mobile state of strain of the atmosphere. Only in particular cases this strain energy is electromagnetic in nature; otherwise it may belong to forms that we actually cannot control (or forgot how to do it!). The phenomenon is theoretically reciprocal: there is an interaction between the mobile states of strain of the atmosphere and induced tectonic states of stress. This way the tectonic states may become catastrophic when proper conditions of tectonic activity are met, as in the case of Atlantis. By the same token this interaction can be conveniently used, as in the cases reported in Exodus.
There is a natural duality between states of tectonic stress and the states of atmospheric strain. If one disappears for a certain reason, its counterpart disappears. The case of Tunguska Event was apparently such a natural case, with no momentarily associated tectonic activity. Here the underlying tectonic state of stress dissipated, thus providing no more support for its ethereal counterpart, which then collapsed explosively.
Sir,
I am writing to you about a phenomenon apparently similar to the Tunguska event, but on a much smaller scale (about one kilometre square).
I must point out that I have absolutely no scientific training, so my observation might not be of any help to you.
As a child (1950 - 1960) I has hitchhiking with my parents ih the Bucegi mountains in Rumania, near the Lake Scropoasa. On the side of a mountain the trees were all flatened, broken from the root, and, if I remember correctly, pointing in the same direction. The event must have taken place some time earlier, the trees were devoid of bark and starting to rot. My father’s opinion was that this must have been due to strong wind, maybe a tornado, but this would have been very unlikely in Rumania.
Wishing you success in the confirmation of your theory,

Sir,
Thank you for the kind words. Your father’s opinion might have been right after all. I’ve heard that tornados are lately common events in those parts of the world. Thanks, again. Let’s keep in touch.

A. Ol’khovatov’s electrical explanation of Tunguska chimes with my own view that the prime mover of the universe is electricity not gravity. Sprites are surely ample explanation of the destruction
